I'm so glad that Mandarin Chef is open again and I can once again order from my favorite chinese restaurant. Today I ordered the pao pao platter, some bbq pork chop suey and some egg foo young with pork. My mouth is watering as I await what I already know will be a delicious meal. Thank you Mandarin Chef for being there for me.

I usually enjoy ordering from Mandarin Chef. But, this most recent experience was somewhat disappointing. Something changed or went wrong. The 61. Mar Kai Guy Pan is one of my favorites, but this time, it was lacking in flavor, as if someone forgot to season it. I tried the 70. Szechuan Beef, which was very good, but it was mostly vegetables and very little beef. The 83. Moo Shu Beef and 103. Beef Chow Fun were especially good, however. Usually, the dishes come with steamed rice, but I didn't receive any steamed rice with this order. I don't know if you have to order/pay for it in addition now. The prices seemed to increase substantially, too. Perhaps they were having a bad night. I hope to give them another chance to prove themselves.

The Egg Foo Young tasted burnt, as well as the gravy on it, the shrimp were not tasty at all. It was if the shrimp wasn't fresh .
A typical Peking home dishes prepared with meat or seafood add with vegetable. Served with 4 Chinese pancakes and plum sauce, protein wrapped in front of you by server.
