I was quite surprised at how quickly it was delivered, especially for a Friday evening.
For Pho Connoisseurs, was my choice, and it’s true, that it had everything, brisket, tendon, meatball, and rare beef. There was a butt ton of meat altogether. However, the tripe was extremely undercooked and super chewy. The best part was rare steak, which was quite tender.
What I was really craving was the pho broth, which is usually deep, and rich in flavor, after being cooked for many hours. Unfortunately the beef broth didn’t even come close to meeting expectations. It had little flavor and was quite bland, to my disappointment, more like a weak bouillon. I really missed the complexity and depth of flavor typical of great pho. I rob won’t try this place again.
