I haven't had an Italian beef sandwich like that since I moved to the south. It was perfect. Beef was moist and tasty. Peppers were excellent and the French bread was nice and flakey on the outside, chewy inside. Had the perfect amount of gravy. Highly recommend!

This is my first time eating Portillo's I see why they are so popular. I should've gotten a bigger Famous Meal #1: Italian Beef Sandwich it was delicious and the onion rings were amazing. I don't know what the Chocolate Cake Slice has in it but that cake was moist and so decadent. I would definitely recommend this place.

I couldn't believe it when I saw Portillos is in Houston. It's every bit as good as Chicago. I love their Combo Beef & Char Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich. I get it whenever I'm in the Chicago area. I was starving so Iforgot to take a picture , oops.
