Taco Max has the best tacos I have ever had. I have told so many people about this place. They give you SO MUCH MEAT and it is grilled to perfection. They also have this incredible spicy red sauce with every meal. You also get fresh lime to squeeze over the gorgeous meal. The rice is strange to me but ilove it.

THE BEST ! They have another location on montrose but this elston one is way better. No chewy meat and no excessive fat added to tacos.

the Queso Fundido was completely congealed and inedible, which is wild considering i paid $8 for it. the steak on both the tacos and burrito was wildly under seasoned. the tilapia had virtually no seasoning, not even salt. i had to dunk hot sauce i have around the house to get through the tacos. the arroz did not say it came with carrots, which i'm allergic to. if that had been stated, i could have at least ate the arroz instead of the queso. this was by far the most disappointing experience restaurant wise thus far after moving up to chicago. i guess i'll have to stick with pilsen for some good mexican food!

Best Mexican Food Restaurant I've had in the city. They even give you limes and mango habenero sauce to die for with their meticulously crafted food in like every order.
