The Lodge Burger was absolutely phenomenal! The fries were also amazing! Best burger and fries we have had in a long time.

The salad was fresh and the dressing wasn't overpowering. I paid $14 for add on shrimp and received about five. They were cooked and seasoned well. The Crispy Fried Lobster Tails was too salty and slightly burned imo. I really wanted to like it but I likely wouldn't order it again. My 9 year old son loved it though.

The  fried green tomatoes were crispy delicious & arrived hot =  5⭐.  Less successful were the chicken wings which were over cooked & dry & inedible celery sticks that weren't fresh = 2.5 ⭐. Blackwall is becoming one of my favorite places because of the great menu, but this is the 2nd time they've just missed the mark (1st  time an ingredient was missing from the salad). A little more attention to the details would earn it  5⭐.

The Smith Island cake is delicious, however I always receive a small piece. $14 for a small piece of this cake is ridiculous. I understand that it is a more expensive cake, but for the size of a piece I received, I would only pay $8 maximum.

I was so excited for the Duck Fat Fries and instead what arrived was something that resembled mid-tier fast food which is not what I paid 13.80 for. I will not be trying them again.
The Crispy Fried Lobster Tails were underwhelming and tough, the sauce was good though.
