Consistently excellent food. Tempura shrimp are large, taste like they're made in house, and arrived still hot and crispy. We had them twice this week. Poke bowl ingredients were fresh and well seasoned. Zen bento box was huge, enough food for two meals. Highly recommend the katsu fish which are served on matchstick tempura sweet potatoes. We dipped them in mayo for a Japanese fish and chips. The restaurant is clean and modern inside. I wish we could make requests on individual items (like hold the onion) and pay to upgrade white rice to fried but those are small issues and won't stop us from ordering again.

Crisp and fresh Shrimp Tempura dinner. Just the right amount of dressing for the salad, and 2 little dishes of dipping sauce for the shrimp. Just perfect for 2 dinners for me (a plentiful serving of steamed rice was also included). Very good value and will order again.

Umis food is delicious! I wish they would put an option to ask for sauce and spicy mayo. I even called the store and asked them to add it and I still didnt get it. But it's super fresh. The fried rice portion is huge! I'll have it again for lunch tomorrow

Everything was great except the Pink Lady Maki special roll. The description listed crab as an ingredient but it wasn't, it was krabstick. For $17 I would have been fine with crab salad which is an inexpensive ingredient but doesn't have the awful sweetness if fake crab. Other items on the menu list crab stick or crab as an ingredient so I think it is reasonable to expect the same with this item. The Shrimp & Vegetables Tempura dinner and Fish Katsu were excellent as always. The Shri Fried Rice was a bit salty but tasted great so would definitely order again.

This was the first time we had tried Umi Sushi, and it was the best sushi and the most fresh that I've ever had in Michigan. The portions were exactly as they should be! We will only be ordering from them when we want sushi! Absolutely Amazing!!
