Albondigas are not the same anymore. They use to be really beefed up but now they're smaller and taste like meat and rice, no flavor. Soup had good flavor but not like I remember it be. I did get a good amount of meat and veggies, bowl was packed. Horchata however is still tasty as ever and took me back to the good ol days.

I've eaten at Vallarta multiple times, but this was only my 2nd time using DoorDash. This was a very disappointing order. The asada meat in the taco was completely dried out, cold and hard. The pazole had maybe 4 pieces of hominy. It was just broth and meat. And, it's obvious whoever put together the order, didn't read what was requested. I ordered cilantro, cabbage, lemon and red salsa. What I got was cilantro, onion, salsa and tostada shells. No lemon, no cabbage. I won't order from Vallarta using Door Dash again. I'll go in person from now on.

It's really a hit or miss when buying menudo on the weekend. I ordered menudo multiple times and for some reason I need to specifically request meat and hominy when it should come with it. Sometimes I don't get all my sides, too. Such as cabbage, lime, flour tortilla, etc. You must request it. Two orders ago my menudo didn't come with any meat or hominy and it was only tripe and liquid. This last order was mostly hominy, little meat, little liquid, and no tripe. When I order at the store they give me everything at a balance. I'm really sad about giving low stars, but I feel that if you request something specific they would do it, but they still miss a few things. It shouldn't be this way and the amount of menudo you receive is very little than going into the store itself. I think this will be the last time ordering menudo from here. It's been a waste of time and money. You're better off walking into the store and ordering it yourself.
