The portion I got the second time i ordered was smaller which was upsetting because it was so good and i was hoping to get the same big portion i got the last time. Otherwise this dish is absolutely anazing i love it so much best ceviche ive had so far!!! Thank you!

The fried seafood mix needed a bit more seasoning for me, but after mixing it with the salsa criolla and Aji Verde, it tasted a lot better. You do get a lot of seafood for the price, which is good. The Saffron Rice & Red Beans tasted good. You only get 2 Piononos for $10, which I think is too much for what you get. The two that I had were also kind of dry and tasted a little earthy.

For many years we have order from pio pio. The flavor is great but the quantity for the price keeps decreasing as the prices keep increasing. I get it prices are high but $9 for a barely full small plate of Saffron Rice is just not right. This is not ment to be a bad review of the food but definitely on prices and quantity.

Quarter of Juanita's Chicken was delicious and juicy. The 16 oz. Aji Verde had incredible flavor. The Arroz Chaufa had plenty of chicken, shrimp, and vegetables. The Maduros was a nice size and great addition to the meal. I love Pio Pio and am glad to see it on Door Dash !

4/12/2025 on a cold rainy NYC day at around 6pm, began to feel hungry and jumped on Doordash to see what was available. I have eaten at a Pio Pio restaurant before and was very happy to see they have a location here in the Bronx. Thank you Pio Pio for coming to the Bronx. I ordered Juanita's Chicken half, Saffron rice and beans and Empanadas de Pollo. Food was delivered fast and fresh, it was still warm when I took it out the bag. Everything was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. I escpecially LOVED the Empanadas de Pollo it had like a curry flavor which was so tasty and unique, Juanitas Chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly. Everything was not overly salty which I LOVED because to much salt raises blood pressure. Once again I highly recommend giving this place a try.
