• 8/1/24Beef Brisket on the toast was amazing. I was a little worried about the broccoli salad as I am very picky but it was phenomenal and I wish I had more than just the 4oz cup I received. very good. Baked Beans (favorite) weren't my fav will def go from more broccoli salad next time. this was my first order, but won't be my last.

• 7/22/26taste was great but I got a very small portion this time. I have bought the Bread Pudding(Favorite) several times. the container was not even half full very small. for 9.50 it should be a bigger portion.

• 5/11/25This place is DELICIOUS! I've never ordered before, and man, oh man, I was missing out. I had the Beef Brisket sandwich, and the meat was so tender and flavorful. I'm a mac and cheese snob, and this stuff was perfection! I will be ordering again! Just.......WOW!

Grabbed a takeout order from Smokin’ J’s on Pineview Drive via DoorDash pickup, and while there was a little confusion between the front and kitchen about the order, everything was ready without a long wait.
🍗 Buffalo Chicken Salad – 5/5
This was the standout. The generous pile of crispy, deep-fried, breaded buffalo chicken chunks on top of fresh lettuce, cucumber slices, diced tomatoes, and crunchy croutons hit the spot. The chicken was perfectly crisp with a warm, slightly spicy BBQ sauce, and paired great with the ranch. I would order this again without hesitation.
🌮 Smokin’ Tacos (Chicken) – 3/5
These came with flour tortillas each holding a breaded chicken tender (not shredded chicken or chicken chunks as envisioned), along with a side of creamy cilantro lime dressing and coleslaw. The slaw was fresh, and the dressing had a nice tang, but the breaded tender felt heavy in a taco format. If I try these again, I’ll go for the pulled pork version instead.
🍟 Pub Fries – 2/5
Here’s where the letdown hit. The DoorDash menu showed loaded fries with cheese, bacon, and green onions, but what I got were plain, thick-cut fried potato chips, lightly salted and nothing else. They were crispy and the portion size was generous, so they might be fine if you’re expecting plain chips, but the menu photo and description need fixing so people know what they’re getting.
✨ Overall: 3/5 experience
If you’re ordering from Smokin’ J’s, grab the Buffalo Chicken Salad for a satisfying, fresh, and flavorful meal. The tacos have potential, but the chicken version wasn’t as exciting as hoped, and the pub fries need clarity on the menu. Would consider ordering again but with adjusted expectations.

BEST PORK IN MORGANTOWN
This is on my top 10 list. They whip up food so fast there's no wait. The price is AMAZING. Anytime Im running low on dollars I buy the Chopped Pork for pickup. $9. CANNOT beat it. The fries.. 10/10. The pork.. 15/10. The coleslaw.. 10/10. The BBQ is obviously crazy good. Even the bun is toasted lightly on the grill so the edges are just crispy enough. I cant go on enough about this place. The Sausage is INSANE. The staff is incredible nice. I sometimes eat in my car because I cant wait to eat it. I love this place. This is the best pork sandwich you will ever have
