Joe's Variety in Watertown has the best meatball sub around. Always delicious. Always fresh.
Also, their roasted turkey in their deli (which I just discovered) can be bought by the 1/2 lb. Is sliced thin and fresh. Better than any supermarket.

I fail to see what all he hype about these subs is. The large turkey came on a stale braided roll, with a small amount of turkey and onions so sour that they gave me indigestion. Look elsewhere for your subs.

Both the ham and cheeese and turkey sandwiches hit so good with something acidic, a veg, and a good amount of deli!
