Pozole Verde With Chicken was even more excellent than usual. It was chock-full of hominy AND chicken. Absolutely my favorite Pozole in all of San Francisco. And I believe I've tried them all. The Huevos Divorciados (PF) somehow took a tumble on their ride over here, so they were flipped over and a bit cooler than I like eggs to be, but still delicious. I still wish they'd bring their TAMALES (de puerco) back as they said they would. I miss them still . . . Muy bueno. Todo!

The carnitas Single Taco is a no frills, clean (no chewy gristly stuff) generous amount of carnitas with a sprinkle of onions and cilantro, on a fresh made corn tortilla, and juicy fresh wedge of lime, one per taco. It's everything. If any notes, would be nice to have crispier carnitas as an option. One is enough for me personally.

That Pozole Verde With Chicken was delicious!! Just the right amount of spice and seasonings. I love spicy, so I loved it. It may be a bit spicy for some. Large portion and they did NOT short you on broth to chicken to hominy ratio. Everything was very neatly packaged and portion. Really good home made Tortillas Hechas En Casa. I would definitely order this again.

El Buen Comer is my favorite Mexican restaurant in San Francisco. The Pozole Verde With Chicken is divine: plenty of plump hominy and pieces of chicken. Also, the broth is exquisisitely thick, not watery. The tacos with carnitas were also very good; nothing beats a hand-made corn tortilla. These are my go-to choices whenever I order from here. This was my first time ordering Huevos Divorciados (PF). They were unforgettable. I so often get over- or under-cooked eggs when ordering at restaurants, but these were perfect, not at all greasy, and accompanied by just the right amount of frijoles and rice. I was worried the tortillas would be tough, since they're "lightly fried", but they weren't: no need for a knife! I will definitely be ordering them again. I just wish they would bring back their delicious PORK TAMALES which have been gone for almost a year now. I miss them every time I order from here.

This is the best Mexican takeout food in SF. No exaggeration. Totally under the radar spot. Everything I've ever ordered from here is delicious and reheats well. Spices are on point. Food is ready in time. Carnitas is not greasy, po olé is amazing, rice and beans are tasty, front counter staff is welcoming. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant on DoorDash. Quality is in everything they do.
