Pakwan was founded in 1999 by two partners, Khalid and Shahbaz, who thought it was time to realize their ambition.
Pakwan, their concept of an authentic and traditional Bay Area Pakistani Indian rest…
The Chicken Briyani is probably one of the best I've had in the area. Seasoned perfectly and good big pieces of chicken. The portion given is huge and enough to feed 2-4 people. And the naan is good as well too, usually portion size but perfectly flakey and fluffy. This is probably my 3rd time having this place and whenever I crave middle eastern I always look here first.

I just finished the Chicken Briyani and, before I go into a food coma I have to give Pakwan credit for being consistent.
The rice is always super flavorful, the portions are always plentiful and, the chicken and other ingredients are always fresh.
Would I order again? Absolutely!
Keep up the consistency, you are AMAZING!

Chicken Tikka Masala: I was shocked that this serving for $19 is a 16 oz container - felt very small and only had about a dozen small chunks of chicken. Had it tasting amazing I could have forgiven this, but the medium wasn't spicy at all, heat or flavor wise.
Naan: Okay, I've had better.

Consistent high quality "street" food, always the same every time, no ups and downs in taste and spices. The tandoori lamb chops are the best, the Pakwan eggplant is a must, so is Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Tandoori (they use swai or white fish). Also., the portions are very generous. Highly recommended.

Very consistent quality of food - the quality, flavor is always the same. No extreme ups and downs, so very dependable. Everything I have sampled is excellent, esp Tandoori Lamp Chops, Tandoori Fish, Chicken Tikka Masala; however, my fav is the Pakwan Roasted Eggplant - a great variation of Bengan Bharta.
