It was sweet. After the icing melts, it becomes soothing in the mouth. Great flavor. Vanilla especially

This cake was not advertised as being frozen. We had to let it thaw out. After 30 minutes or so, we unpeeled the vacuum-sealed bags that each slice was in and the cake was just cold, soggy, and overall disgusting. I'm so surprised it was this bad. I didn't expect it to be the best cake ever, but this was not good. The cake had a chemical aftertaste and the frosting had no flavor.

Uck. Was a gift. They should get their money back. NO taste even after thawing it. All I could taste was overwhelming sugar. No cocoa, no cream cheese tang in the frosting. It was like all the flavor profiles congealed into one during the freezing process or something. I can't believe one slice cost as much as a whole supermarket multi layer fancy cake.

This cake is nasty. It's frozen cake that's been vacuum sealed by the slice. I had to literally peel it open when it arrived. They sell it out of Bertucci's under Buddy's brand, which I now realize is named after some food network cake guy. Do yourself a favor and buy a box of cake from the grocery store.
