• 7/29/22The small really was small, literally 4 oxtails. Definitely tasty but not worth the money IMO. Definitely 5stars!!
The rice and peas tho.... literally the best I've ever had!! Cabbage was just ok.
Next time I'm in Raleigh, I will absolutely order from here.

• 10/26/24I really do not like to leave unfavorable reviews, but I was unhappy. Just because it was not the flavor I am use to when it comes to Oxtails. The sauce was not a dark brown color or taste. It had a stewy sauce look and taste to it, but the portion was plentiful And the Oxtails were very tender and fall if the bone. Just not the traditional Oxtails I am use to.
The Coco Bread was okay, but looked just as I have had it from other Jamaican restaurants. The cabbages were not seasoned and the rice and peas were over cooked and dry. If I had been in the restaurant, I definitely sent it back and got a refund because after that, I had lost my appetite and the meal was NOT cheap. Expected better for the price!
I was confused because it was only around 1 pm and everything should have been fresh. Maybe it was a bad day?! Maybe I will give them another try??

• 7/9/26I ordered a small Oxtail entree with cabbage & rice and peas. The portion size was just right. Lots of meat and not just bones (I admit I did eat some before I took this pic). The sides were alright, but I've been violently craving oxtail and this definitely satisfied that craving.

• 1/12/26I just need to say this: absolutely AMAZING! This is my first time eating here but I will say, exceeded my expectations! The brown chicken stew was so flavorful and went well with the roti skin - literally soaked up all the stew! The chicken was fall off the bone tender and easy to chew. I thought the portion looked small but honestly it got me to a good level of full where I'm satisfied but not bursting out of my pants. Every thing tasted homemade and fresh. Definitely will be coming back to try more!

• 1/28/26The rice and peas were mushy and overcooked. There was an ice cream scoop of cabbage. Probably won't order again for $60 worth of food. Ox Tails was in a red sauce. Normally it's a dark brown sauce.
