A Mexican friend duo had a dream of bringing genuine tacos to Austin. Their dream came true in 2009 when they opened their first taco trailer, ONETACO. If there's one arena in Austin where it's diffic…
Of course One Taco is delicious, but the best part for me is that they use the highest quality meat (it shows), and all their ingredients are fresh and wonderful. They are now not just my Austin favorite, but my all time favorite tacos. (The sides are terrific too!)

My Mom loved the Taco Al Pastor. She wouldn't even share it with me! She ranted and raved about how delicious it was afterwards - and she's an expert cook! The Taquiza De Asada is the way to go (it comes with lime, which the other Tacos sadly did not). Their Carne Asada is pure, I mean not one piece of gristle, 100% lean and delicious!
Their green salsa is good, but their red one is yuck, like toss it. I recommend you bring your own salsa to the table, because these Tacos will NOT disappoint! Found my new favorite Taco place, and to think, all these years I would drive past this place without a second glance - not anymore

Their breakfast tacos were okay! Nothing to write home about. If you want the best of One Taco, get their lunch tacos - al pastor ones are the absolute bomb. Their tortillas are always delicious, both corn and flour. The breakfast tacos were okay, just maybe the ratio of egg wasn't my cup of tea. Would order again but probably only for lunch.

Guac was brown. Cheese on the nachos lacking. $4-5 per taco I expected a lot better.
