This food was top notch! It tasted like I stepped right off the plane in Italy. The Grassa Meatballs were tender and juicy, the Butternut Squash Tortelli was perfection and I couldnt get over the crispy bits of the Baked Lumache Verde. Absolute heaven. Dont forget the Fried Brussel Sprouts! Chefs kiss!

Pork Belly Mac & Cheese ... i expected more out of this dish. unfortunately the pasta was a tad bit on the dry side. It lacked more flavor and there was maybe 5 or 6 small bites of pork belly. For the price I'd give it a 6 out of 10

OMG so good. Pure clean pasta dish with very few ingredients the way it SHOULD be. When pasta is this good you don't want to drown out the actual pasta with too much and they season everything simply and its perfect. Black Truffle Pappardelle has a good bite to it I couldn't stop eating! the Side Marinara is delicious too. New love!

Order was placed and delivered within 35 minutes. Bread was piping hot and delicious...Unfortunately the pasta...was from yesterday?? Cold and dried out. Egg fried over hard. I added porkbelly, it was okay. GIving grace for this being a to-go order, but I've had better past to-go from Red Lobster and Amaros.

I’ve tried just about everything, and I’m never disappointed. Grassa is perfect for lunch or dinner, with complex flavors and unique combinations. My favorite is probably Pasta alla Chitarra - love the whipped ricotta and hazelnuts. The high quality and reasonable price point shouldn’t be too surprising, seeing as though Grassa was created by the same person(s) as Lardo, another great Italian eatery.
Being from San Francisco, where Italian food is more abundant and in-demand, I have to be honest in saying I was a little disappointed in the selection in this area. Lots of canned ingredients in too large of portions, and for premium prices. I’ve found a few amazing Italian restaurants, and Grassa is in my top 3 simply because the food is delicious, fresh, and thoughtful.
