Packaged nicely. You can tell they actually read the comments you make to them. I like that.
Bang Bang Shrimp I had ordered before. They were very tasty.
The Kids Chicken Strips we had not gotten before but you get 2 large strips and a good variety of choices of sides. We got the chicken wild rice soup. You can't ever go wrong with their wild rice soup.
The Italian Nachos we had never ordered before either. They were tasty. The only I would have liked was a little bit more toppings and some of the chips were a little burnt but still very good.

Ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca tonight. It looked nothing like the picture. The chicken was dry, the coating was soggy the cheese was hard and it lacked flavor of any kind. Way overpriced at $28!! Save your money and order something else.

The grilled shrimp and scallops as well as the lemon chicken has extremely small portions. not at all worth what they charge. Chicken was also dry. The shrimp and scallops was 1 skewer with 3 shrimp and 1 scallop. For $25 a total rip off. Lemon Beurre Blanc Chicken had 3 of the smallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. Also a total rip off. I do not recommend this place at all!

Lemon chicken is marketed as breaded cutlets. There was no breading at all - just rubbery, bland, unseasoned and over cooked chicken. There was no sauce tasted OK but had a watery texture. Overwhelming garlic (I am a garlic lover and seldom believe that any amount is too much). This was Applebee's quality at an upscale price.

Tavern is always a solid ordering place and a little more upscale when you are looking to have a fancier night in. Had the baked spaghetti and it was great and filled with loads of flavor. My family said the club and hamburgers were great as well.
