I've been enjoying El Zocalo for 40 years. Even though the pandemic changed thier menu, they still have the best papusas I have had. They seem to be using the same original recipes, and I also enjoy their enchiladas. They are known for taking their time cooking, and I taste the difference, well worth the wait!

We primarily eat vegetarian options - the Pupusas are fantastic esp Loroco Pupusas, Revuelta Original Pupusas, and Queso & Frijoles Pupusas
The cabbage slaw and salsa toppings are perfect

This is soup they put this huge chicken white meat 2 big potatoes no corn and that took the whole container this is cheating

Pupusas are great but it doesnt come with the salsas and curtido that comes with it everywhere else unless you pay extra...

So GOOD! I ordered the chicken and beef enchilada. Enjoyed the chicken more,
Was expecting steak strips/slices but it was ground beef. No worries though. The spicy gravy is thicker than standard enchilada sauce...super tasty as well.
