Crab cakes are amazing!!! It's literally pure crab meat and barely had any filler! I'll definitely get it again.

Clare and Don's Whole Oyster App offers the best, most flavorful fried oysters I've found in the DMV. They are the best! I also love the Whole Ocean linguini with shrimp, scallops, and fish, with so many choices for sauce and all good. Truly, my only complaint about Clare and Don's is their ridiculously vast selection of delicious things to eat, makes it hard to choose!

I love Clare and Don's Beach Shack and do pickup when I'm in the area. They have so much variety that when dining in, I have trouble deciding! - but for takeout I always get The Whole Ocean and gumbolaya, my two absolute favorites! The seafood is fresh and delicious, with tons of choices of sauces and starches. And the kitchen serves up the food fast!!

The Whole Oysters App is my favorite, and I always get it. It's the best Southern fried oysters I have found in the area, and I have tried many! And I always get a quart of the Gambolaya for tomorrow - also the best local gumbo I have found, even if it isn't quite the roux-based kind I grew up with from Louisiana. This is my first time ordering the Admiral's Feast, but the sights and scents are mouthwatering!!

The food is VERY bland and has no actual spices or flavor. This is the 2nd time I've ordered from here. It was bland and flavorless last time, and I had hoped it was a fluke, but I guess not. it just seems like everything is either boiled in water or just cooked enough for it to be consumed. I got the haddock with rice and broccoli, and it just boiled and seared with nothing else added to actually bring out the flavor of the food. Last time, I got the flounder sandwich and had the same complaints, and the bread it came on was almost like it had been soaked in water.The price is just too high and not worth what you get, and there's better options available out there.
