I live in California and wanted to surprise one of my friends in Omaha with some custom cupcakes to celebrate her birthday and send a special message via dessert telegram.
Smallcakes helped me effortlessly pull off this special surprise from across the country. I called in the day after Christmas to try and coordinate the surprise within 36-48 hours. Laura was lovely and very can-do, making it so easy to place my order and share my custom instructions for how I wanted to design each cupcake. She talked me through my options, and gave me tips on how to best convey my order. Later that week, Smallcakes baked and delivered my order exactly as I'd hoped, and the end result was beautiful. My friend was so touched, and said she and her husband absolutely loved every flavor.

These cupcakes were delicious! They were perfectly baked and so soft and sweet. It's a great amount for the price as well. I asked for no pecans on the red velvet cupcake and they made sure they weren't on there! I will 100% order again.
