If you want real, authentic Middle Eastern food in Miamisburg, Taste of Jerusalem hits it out of the park.
Growing up in Massachusetts, I’ve eaten my fair share of Middle Eastern food, so I know what real flavor profiles are supposed to taste like. I get tired of hearing people say, "I've been to NYC, so I know good food," only to complain when a dish has actual flavor. Just because someone doesn't like a bold spice profile doesn't mean the food is bad—it just means they don't appreciate a culture that takes pride in its seasoning. Going to New York doesn't automatically make anyone an expert.
I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and the Grape Leaves, and both were absolute perfection:
Chicken Shawarma Wrap: The chicken was remarkably fresh, cooked to tender perfection, and seasoned with that authentic, deep warm-spice blend that makes proper shawarma special. Wrapped up fresh with bright, crisp toppings, every single bite had incredible depth.
Grape Leaves: Perfectly stuffed, rolled tight, and balanced. You get that brilliant hit of citrus, fresh herbs, and oil without anything feeling mushy or overpowered.
Everything tasted completely fresh and made to order—no dried-out meat, no bland shortcuts, and zero hesitation with the spices. If you appreciate authentic food prepared by people who actually know how to season a dish, this spot is top-tier. Easily one of the best eats in the area!

Best Middle Eastern food I've ever had in my life. Everything is so perfectly cooked. The hummus is the best in all of Dayton area. Amazing portions as well. I do wish they had a button to buy more pita bread though. :( also my food came from all the way across town at least 18-20 minutes away and my fries and food were still hot. Obviously, I'm ordering again. I order all the time. lol

Food was too salty and over seasoned. Had been wanting to try this place every time I drove by so today got the falafel wrap…sorry to say not a fan. As someone who has had good falafel from stands in NYC to the west coast I know a good or at least decent falafel sandwich when I taste it.

I really wanted to love this place, but the chicken was tasteless and the wrap sandwich was dry and hardly edible. I also ordered the hummus which tasted fine, but came with nothing to eat it with for 16.99. I have never gotten humm that wasn't served with some pita or something to eat it with.
