Really amazing food, and honestly.. they never miss ! Food is always tasty, well priced, and a good amount of food. I recommend flat rice noodles, with chucked & the peanut Malay sauce...it's really good! Shame to whoever did not rate 5 stars, because they are truly 5 stars!

The Hokkien noodles with Malay sauce and chicken is soooo fire! The noodles are so bouncy and chewy, plus the veggies and chicken taste super fresh. Make sure to order extra sauce (separate charge but worth it) because it really takes it to the next level. I always get this when I'm in the East Bay. Delish!

Toss Noodle Bar never disappoints. It was so good I went in person the next day and had the same thing. I ordered for an appetizer the Kabocha Croquette I get this everytime I go. For my meal I ordered the Wheat Noodless with chicken, Red curry and add eggplant. Their Garlic noodles are also phenomenal. They're not like any other garlic noodles I've had. The portions are enough for one person. Food is always fresh. The thai tea also has a non dairy options which is so accommodating. I love this place 10/10. The staff is also always very friendly and will help with recommendations.

Ordered the Hokkien with tofu and prawns in the mildly spicy Thai sauce. So delicious!
The Thai Tea Pouch was very good though spilled a bit in the take out bag during transit.
Highly recommend Toss Noodle Bar!

okay so here's the thing. toss has good food and has asserted itself as something I will try to get everytime I'm in Berkeley. with that being said, I finally have had a mediocre experience and have some actual critique to share.
the Hokkien with Malay sauce and Thai sauce is delicious, it's like stir fried saucy noodles. but tonight I tried something different and got red curry with the hokkien and added Malay sauce instead.
I think they forgot the Malay sauce (I didn't taste it at all) but when you get curry, they give you broth and the noodles completely dry rather than stir frying. it'd be nice if the options had (sauce) or (broth) next to them when you are making your order so you can tell what you're getting. the red curry hokkien tastes pretty good but like something my partner can make for me at home - the noodles are bland because they are not stir fried. I've had better red curry as well, it's pretty mild in flavor. but even mediocre curry is good to me honestly.
I also ordered Veggie Steamed Dumpling and they gave me chicken unfortunately. I decided to try them anyway and I mean, they were okay. pretty cold despite the order coming quickly, and they didn't fill up the sauce container all the way - it was half full. so the best part they skimped out on.
the Thai Tea Pouch is yummy especially with coconut milk but are not worth the price anymore. the serving size is small, and they used to have bigger options.
I would give 5 stars but the downgrading of Thai tea + the less than awesome experience has shown me that even a place as good as toss can have their off days.
