The Chili Chicken Bolo met the hype. One of my favorit sandwiches ever! I liked that it had a kick to it and the sour cream dressing - inspired. The Plain Bolo Bao was perfect . Just sweet enough to satisfy my sugar craving.

Usually I love Rubato, stopped getting it recently because it was inconsistent. For a $7 coffee it tastes like a $3 diner coffee, not strong and tastes stale. The egg bun was like pure liquid, just felt kind of like sloppy fast food for a higher price tag. I used to order all the time, but quality has dropped. Maybe it's because I got it delivered, but I feel like I used to have way better quality coffees and food.

OMG, the food is delicious! The fried chicken bolo was incredible --- it's obvious the bun is house-made, and it travels much better than most chicken sandwiches too. Seasoning is perfect. The HK French toast is utterly decadent, and the milk tea is not to be missed. The bao are amazing too -- Rubato is a culinary gem!

The Chili Chicken Bolo is the best thing I've ever eaten Ever Not to mention the staff is so kind- on my second visit Mr Louis himself busy working and kindly took the time to greet and thank me as if he wasn't a celebrity chef.

Salt + Pepper Chicken was excellent. The bao was good but a little too salty. I like them better a little sweeter.
