I'm soooo confused lol....
My Pollo Guisado / Stew Chicken was deelicious!! The meat just falls off the bones into the accompanying rice. Perfect actually. The red Habichuela Roja / Red Beans beans came in a small container, looked a bit like soup till I opened it & started trying it. 1st Yumm & second I'm soo stuphed from the small (U can choose-small, medium & large portions of every entree-sorry-French. Is it comida-meal in Spanish please anybody? Hmm) stewed chicken, I can't right now! It was actually very good & I may have it as a kind of soup add on of protein in my future orders from here.
My confusion is cause I think I ordered a Tiramisu for dessert but I don't have dessert always soo... I'm momentarily sugar confused here lol. I believe that there may not have been any Tiramisu available, so kindly, they thoughtfully sent me a Chocolate Pastel de Chocolate / Chocolate Cake. Yumm I have absolutely been side eyeing-fondly of course, their Tres Letches-chocolate dessert.... whoa lol. .

I asked for extra carrot, I was charged extra money, but I only got like 1 & 1/2 slices of carrots. I wanted a lot of carrots. I prefer my Carne Guisada / Stew Beef to be well balanced with meat, potatoes, & carrots, not mostly meat with maybe one slice of carrot & one chunk of potato.

I ordered here for the first time a couple months ago and have been hooked since! I've only ever had their goat and the Rabo / Oxtail, both are amazing but the Rabo / Oxtail is my favorite! Awesome portions for the price, and the meat literally falls right off the bone without being over cooked at all. I grew up on Long Island in a neighborhood that had Dominican spots all over that were a staple of the neighborhoods diet- this is at least as good if not better than there! Plus it comes with a huge portion of rice and beans of your choice that are perfectly seasoned and delicious in their own right.

I really wanted to try the red beans and rice but they forgot that and gave me minestrone soup instead so i was very disappointed about that the fried sweet plantains were delicious the ribs had great flavor a lil dry but i did order at the end of the night so i think that might be why the chicken and rice was okay the soup okay the potato ball my first one ever was absolutely delicious may i suggest adding cheddar cheese in there too if possible that'd be great. I do recommend this place flavors are good i will be trying it again like u said u did order a lil late. Oh the portions were good size too.
