Crazy large portions, love it. Maybe I didn't read the description correctly but I was surprised to see ham in the rice. Again, I gotta go back and read the description. Still great.

Will not be going back. The food is incredibly disappointing. Hardly any meat in the chow meins or the fried rice, and the chow meins are mostly celery and bean sprouts. Ribs were meh at best. Everything is extremely bland... I shouldn't be able to cook better chinese food than they do! Genuinely don't know if folks only reference points are panda express or what...but even *panda* is better than this, which should be embarrassing for them.

The food was very bland, I hardly got any shrimp in my shrimp curry, I didn't even get plain white rice with my curry. Even the egg flour soup was tasteless. And the portions were very small. we got absolutely no fortune cookies either. ￼

We ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Barbecued Pork, Pork Fried Rice 蘑菇鸡片，甜酸鸡，叉烧，叉烧炒饭 from the dinner combo menu. They were all delicious as usual. This time we also ordered 2 Spring Rolls 春卷（小） . I have to say they were the best I have ever had. The portions are all so large that my husband and I (in our 60's) can barely finish the one order. If you want GREAT CHINESE FOOD in Astoria, you have to go to Golden Star!

Disappointing. This is supposed to be Special Sesame Chicken and Pork Chow Mein 特色芝麻鸡和猪肉炒面 - don't know where they learned to make pork chow mein, but this isn't it. Hardly any meat, no noodles I could find, and almost only celery and bean sprouts. Was extremely bland to taste. Chicken was fine, but the sauce was doing all the work. Haven't even gotten to our second shared plate and neither of us is enthusiastic but fingers crossed. x_x
