My husband has enjoyed the chicken empanada and the beef empanada twice. Today I ordered Vaca Frita for him. He said it was delicious, and he'd like for us to order it again.

Ajiaco/Sancocho was bland and tasted like they used boyon cubes but barely enough to season it. plus there where more bones and meat in it ! This location used to be good but over time has raised the prices and cut the quality way back.. it's a went from seasoned to bland which is said. The Beef Empanada crust has a off putting after taste and again the beef is unseasoned or under seasoned..

La Cubana certainly is a hidden gem! For the price you get a lot of good tasty food. I got the Milanesa De Pollo and I would rate it a 7.5/10 but I loved it! The rice was spectacular very flavorful. The chicken was cool, it was a bit on the tender side. But if you like your chicken well well done this is the spot for you! The Sweet Plantains were really good but they couldve fried them a little bit longer I typically like mine a bit on the softer side it was hard in the middle. The salad was fresh. But the black beans were watered down in the bowl so thats why I give it a 7.5!

Chicken Empanada were really dry and barely had any meat in them - much prefer d-cuban ones instead!! Also didn't come with any sauces
