I prefer Oakwood because they don't add a nauseating amount of smoky flavor to their meat. The meat is good. The macaroni and cheese was not good. We didn't taste any cheese. Just mushy noodles in some sort of flour paste. Please add salt to the potato salad.

Nice good sized portion of the meats and the sides. Brisket was moist and tender and sliced thick. The sausage was flavorful. No BBQ sauce in the order so had to make liberal use of Frank's Red Hot sauce on the meat and the beans.. The burnt end beans were just plain pinto beans. The creamed corn and banana pudding were excellent. It was a damned good meal even without having any bbq sauce.

the sides were not good, only the brisket and turkey were ok. the Mac and cheese had a strange texture and color and didn't tastes like cheese and corn was funky tasting, pickles tasted gross, potato salad tasted like the gross pickles, green beans had so much shredded meat in them and tasted rancid. the sauces and beans containers broke and got all over the bag causing it to break also and got sauce all over everything.

The Sampler was obviously super good and had plenty of meat. The Banana Pudding was honestly some of the best pudding I've ever had!
