Everything was great the plate was a good size for the price and the Combo #2 I got with bulgogi and pork belly was also good.

Portion sizes were insanely small, which is weird because usually it's a good size. Got Japchae and it was just plan starch noodles with sesame seeds and some green onions. One of my 3 piece plates was I only 2 piece. Would I order again, I don't know usually they are never this bad.

I had a two item combo my second item instead of meat was lettuce wrap. So my combo came with a little salad. a side salad, and large lettuce leaves to wrap. not what I expected. the chicken was good but pieces to large. Husband got the 3 item combo, which only had two meats. The Prime Ribeye was not Prime it was chewy,,the tongue was missing. Their prices are good but they should not call meat Prime when it obviously is not. The side noodle dish was good, with a light sesame flavoring.Japchae

The fried chicken was yummy and crispy, but not korean fried chicken style. The seasoning reminded me of taiwanese popcorn chicken you would get at a boba shop and the batter reminded me of fish and chips. The japchae was also not in any way traditionally seasoned. Everyone prepares and seasons their japchae differently, but there were seriously no korean flavors to be detected at all and I would definitely not reorder. While the visuals were giving japchae, the taste was giving more panda chow mein. The combo was okay! I ordered the pork belly and the prime rib eye, and while the pork belly was pretty good the rib eye was very chewy. My favorite things overall were the chicken and the side of cucumber kimchi I received. I was excited to finally see a korean bbq place in Escondido, but maybe my expectations were too high… :(

Lacked the freshness, flavor and texture of good Korean BBQ, I did however enjoy the bugolgi it certainly outshone the short rib and prime steak that were just alright, would love to be able to have sauces included to assist the rice and meat (as well as fresher higher quality meats) ,the portions were as expected and I do want to give some grace considering this was a delivered meal, and not made in the moment as is standard for Korean BBQ. I may order again in the future the bugolgi gave me hope for better to come! <3
