I recently ordered the Birria Beef Bowl from Nopalito at Local Kitchens, and it was a total game-changer! The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly balanced with the rich and savory birria sauce. The bowl had just the right amount of spice, and the fresh toppings like cilantro and onions added a nice crunch. The portion size was generous, leaving me completely satisfied.
What’s even better is that Local Kitchens offers a variety of menus from different brands, so I’m excited to explore more options. Next on my list is trying one of the fried chicken sandwiches from Proposition Chicken—I’ve heard great things about them! Great dinner from LK! The Buffalo Wings were well sauced and the perfect portion for a solo meal or appetizer for a group. Super friendly staff at pick-up!

Oh man, this pizza, it was, like, really good! The white sauce—whoa, it was creamy and, uh, just blended so well with the Italian sausage and pepperoni. But then, there was this, like, hot honey stuff? Mike’s hot honey? It was sweet but spicy, and, uh, I didn’t even know honey could do that! It blew my mind, man!

My order of one Hong Kong Milk Tea and one The Rich Pork Belly Tam got remade after a delay of around 40 minutes. While the milk tea itself was okay, adding stiff as hell Boba jumped the price from 6.50 to 8.00. Worth it? Not really. The Pork Belly was good for the price though, slightly charred around the edges but the inside does feel rough in some pieces. The rice feels like it has been flavored in a wok which explains the oiliness, which feels weird after a minute of eating.
