Mi Cocina is consistently great. I am a regular patron of this establishment great TexMex. Ive never had anything Ididnt love.

The beef and chicken fajitas were good but I added three grilled shrimp and could SMELL the shrimp before I opened the bag. They were EXTRA fishy smelling. I did not want to take the risk of eating them and threw them away because I did not want to risk getting sick. The flan was good but the portion size was ridiculously small.

Had a bad quality salad delivered tonight. I spent over 29.00 to have this made and delivered. The lettuce was white and brown unlike the beautiful green that it normally is. The tomatoes did not taste fresh at all and the purple onion had been pre-sliced and shaved. This is not the normal quality that I have enjoyed for years from MiCocinas. The Colony and Frankford locations are always made great and delicious but this was terrible. When I contacted Door Dash by phone, they did not resolve this but had me wait for over an hour for a resolution. This is not quality service from them either tonight. It's late and I simply was expecting a great dinner. Instead I was not responded to and still have no dinner.

I know that this restaurant is under a new manager, and I will have to say that he is doing an awesome job because my delivery was outstanding. My food is good and it was warm still and it was packaged very nicely and securely.

I normally love Mi Cocina but I was disappointed because the queso container was only 1/2 full at best and it just seemed like a small amount for the price.
