Usually $28 is worth their Brisket DD Smokehouse Loaded Baked Potato but this time it absolutely wasn't. Me saying I got at least an ounce of Brisket is being VERY generous.. The top of the Potato looked like it sat under heat lamps entirely to long, and what was there was dry and Baked together, the Potato itself was rubbery. I did not enjoy this at all... :(

I ordered through DoorDash and just had to leave a review because this food was excellent. I ordered the brisket sandwich with Carolina barbecue sauce and sweet sauce on the side, along with coleslaw and pickles on the side, a side of mac and cheese, and the barbecue corn on the cob.
Everything was prepared so fresh. When I bit into the brisket sandwich, I could still feel the crunch from the bread being toasted and the buttery flavor coming through. The brisket was well seasoned, tender, and the portion size was very generous. The mac and cheese was really good, and the barbecue corn on the cob was flavorful and cooked perfectly.
I chose DoorDash because it’s early February and a little cool outside, but even with delivery and a roughly 10-minute drive, my food arrived hot and fresh, like it had just come out of the kitchen. I’m literally still eating as I write this, and I couldn’t wait to give them a shout-out.
Amazing food, great portions, and clearly prepared with care. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Great portion size. Perfectly crispy steak with tender meat inside. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the fried okra was fresh and crunchy, I got the the gravy on the side and it was was rich and flavorful. A solid, comforting meal that really hit the spot. Would order again

Pulled pork was VERY good though the portion was smaller than other restaurants. The smoked Gouda grits were fairly bland and the sweet potato wasn't good - ate only a couple bites and threw it away.
