This was my first time trying Roots and Im so pleasantly surprised! I live in grandview and have always driven by it and finally decided to go for it. I ordered the Balboa and it was soo good! They give you large portions and the chicken had great flavor. I will definitely be ordering this again

$40 and they absolutely wrecked my bowls. First bowl I paid almost $2 to get a whisper of goat cheese, got double broccoli and sweet potato and there was 4 pieces of broccoli and a small handful of sweet potato, it was supposed to be rice and spinach as the base and the whole bowl is 80% rice, paid almost $3 to get at most 1/4 of avocado and second bowl kale and quinoa as the base there’s NO quinoa and 4 tiny pieces of sweet potato. Horrible I will never again order from this place literally ever idc what is said or changed that’s too much money for that experience.

Very flavorful dish with ingredients you usually don't get at other places like the avocado and a roasted sweet potatoes absolutely incredible!! Will definitely order from again and again!!

Fresh, delicious, just the right amount of each ingredient, very filling. One bowl is enough for 2. I substituted chicken for chimichurri mushrooms

Thus was fantastic. The chicken is amazing. Seasoned very well. Juicy. Subbed goat cheese in for the feta and removed the chips. The dressing is excellent and so is "the works". 10/10 will get again.
