I had one of my favorites: Smothered chicken with rice and gravy, with 2 sides: Mac and cheese and collard greens. They were tasty and phenomenal, as always.

shrimp plate is delicious, portion are large andthe shrimp was insanely delicious and crispy. cooked perfect and the flavor was immaculate. genuinely the best shrimp I've had in Galveston. super fresh and I'll be ordering again. Lemonade was also really good.

The 2 pc Fried Pork Chops Plate has big, big chops. They're delicious, not overcooked or dry like other places. The cabbage is too salty, I can't even eat it.

Fish Plate
The one thin piece of catfish is overcooked. Okra is bland, and they sent dry, tasteless, mushy mac and cheese instead of the potato casserole I ordered even though I checked "cancel the entire order" if items were unavailable. The tartar sauce isn't fresh. It's little packets from a factory, it's awful. Tartar sauce isn't expensive or hard to make. This food is ridiculously overpriced considering the low quality.

I had the pork 2 pc Fried Pork Chops Plate, ordered mash potatoes and macNcheese. got double mash potatoes. you know what? didn't give a damn. that meal was legit! chops perfectly seasoned and cooked. mashed potatoes and gravy on point!
my wife had the Beef tips over rice n gravy. and choose 2 of your favorite sides with cabbage and green beans. all three were slap yo momma good! first time to order. Will be back! made a fat boy happy! and a skinny girl defend her plate. that's saying something.
I'm only sorry we haven't ordered before!
it smelled so good we we started eating then remembered the pictures!
