Great pot roast, just not enjoy vegetables give. Very skimpy plate. but it was very delicious.

So sad here. Black bear used to have fabulous food- seems no longer. This was the 2nd chance and not going to try for a 3rd. Big portions but not at all tasty any longer. The Biscuits & Gravy had stale biscuits. The Classic Eggs Benedict was good but I can also get that other places. The Volcano had ehhh pancakes and the bacon was tasty but hard as rocks. We didn't even get one of the Fresh Baked Bear Claw, Classic and the bear claw we did get was also stale like the Biscuits & Gravy.

They packed the toast in the same packaging as the meal (instead of on the side in like a wax paper bag like other restaurants) so the toast was soggy when it arrived.  The exact opposite of what toast is supposed to be. 

The flavor of the potatoes were strange ... not sure if it was a seasoning, or the fat it was cooked in but it has an almost metallic aftertaste. 

The omelette had blacked, over-Ripened, bitter avocado. The eggs of the omelette were well cooked, not over cooked. but for a "California" omelette, it felt a lot more like just a mushroom omelette with a blob of black avocado.  

Very disappointing for the price.

Santa Maria Tri-Tip Dinner* and Bear Paw Chicken Fried Steak were good. The Homemade Chicken Pot Pie was not good full of filler like mushrooms and other vegetables also some sort of spice like sage overpowered the whole thing! Definitely wasn't worth $20!

Denver Omelette country potatoes were hard/raw and 2 pieces of the toast were burnt. 
California Omelette mushrooms were raw, sliced avocado were great on the side that presented, flip them over and they were black. 
Side of bacon - 2 slices - 1 was complete fat so much I could see through the entire slice. 
Completely disappointing breakfast.
