Food was great and the servings were honestly larger than expected. The potato patties and chicken fried chicken were both cooked amazingly and had so much flavor.

It's a hidden gem in Alvarado..like going to grandma's nothing Fancy..Just good people and conversactions and pretty good food.. They literally have the best chicken fried chicken 50 miles wide in all directions. it's so tender and juicy and good.. also dont go by the menu . they have items not on menu.just ask the waitress and look at the white board ..like the breakfaststack hash browns on bottom...I get extra crispy. grilled biscuits topped with eggs any way you like...and smothered in gravy. the crumble lots of sausage or bacon on top too biscuits and you can get half orders i you eat less like me definitely worth a try. oh and $10 catfish friday.. 2 giant pieces and 2 sides with hushpuppies. I will say it needs salt.. but its real real good!

I realy enjoyed the Chef Salad . it s always verytasty more than I can eat.u always get your money's worth when ordering from this place. love it and if u go in the staff isalways very friendly nkind.

I immediately dug right in!!! I was craving something for my soul and the pot roast hit the spot! The onions were cooked perfectly in! Mashed Potatoes and gravy yummmy! Black eyed peas were also delish. I just had to add a little salt and walllahhhh! I will order again! Thanks!!

The kids Mini Corn Dog was so hard couldn't bite into it & the bacon on the BLT was also hard it had to be taken off other than that the food was good
