All my friends rave about Hutchins so I decided to try it.
The Sliced Brisket gets 8/10 it's good.
The Turkey Breast gets 7/10. The meat is good but the peppercorn crust overwhelms it and isn't doing it any favors.
Where this place really shines is the sides.
The Broccoli Salad gets a 9/10. The only thing I counted off was that the dressing was fantastic but it needed more. It was drier than it should have been.
The Potato Salad gets a 9.5/10. Excellent. A bit of egg white pieces would have earned a 10.
The Potato Casserole gets a 5/10. It's not a casserole. It's loaded country mashed potatoes. Edible but I'm not a fan of Russet skins in my mashed potatoes.
The Texas Twinkie gets a solid 10. I was concerned about paying that much for a suffed jalapeño but this thing could be a whole meal. It's huge and delicious! I would order from Hutchins again just for more of these!
All-in-all, I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Nothing is better than getting sliced wet brisket in person at Hutchins. But their Chopped Brisket in Sauce delivered by DoorDash is still amazing! It's great as a sandwich or by itself and comes with a generous amount of bbq sauce.

best Banana Pudding ive ever had in my life! the Stuffed Potato was actually texas sized this time, big and tasted perfect. the Texas Twinkie is definitely spicy (and delicious) so if you aren't into spice, don't get it!

Absolutely the BEST BBQ I have had. The Chicken (Half) was super juicy inside but charred perfectly and seasoned on the outside. And dont forget the Banana Pudding it is 10/10....Theeeee Best!

First time at restaurant. The 2 meat sandwich was so good. Brisket and turkey was excellent and exceptional. I wish I could have afforded more. The banana pudding was also right up there with some of the best I've had. I will come into the restaurant next time. I am a connoisseur of BBQ, a native Texan. Could eat it 3 times a day.
