This food was absolutely delicious. The ox tails, chicken, fish, greens and Mac and cheese were on point. I'm from South Carolina visiting family and would come back to Roxboro just for the food here.

fish was delicious and well seasoned, was still hot when i got it home only need a few drops hot sauce. Same for the pork chops. Greens are very seasoned and cooked well mac n cheese was def cheesy and seasoned..def ordering the fish again...probably tomorrow!

We ordered the Fried Chicken dinner and my husband said it was the best chicken he's had from a restaurant in years. I had the Catfish & Shrimp dinner. The side brought back memories of country cooking I grew up with. The Red Velvet Cake was on special, buy one get one, so we ordered. It was delicious, just like my Grandma's.
The portion size was so large, I had two meals.
I will order again & look forward to eating in the restaurant soon.

The oxtails were not tender at all.
The rice was undercooked and I ordered the chicken regular fry(for my toddler) and the fish extra crispy(for my husband). Instead I got the opposite.
The sides were good. This was the only time I've had an error so I won't hold it against! Will still order, as it's our fav restaurant in Roxboro so far.

Hamburger & Gravy
The last 3 out of 4 times lately has been terrible. Iv spent alot of time money and given great reviews.
Today was absolutely the worst EVER couldnt even eat the meat it was like a rock. Tasted terrible. The cabbage was nothing but oil. Portions were like it was 2 days old and scrapped from the pot.
