I’ve been ordering for years mostly from the former Mission Valley location
Perhaps not Lawrys but an exceptional value for well executed beef
A salad veggies and potatoes were all included
This is old world excellence 70s to 90s style of a mid tier steakhouse
I say order the Prime Rib as there are prob a lot better options for steak.However if you are a Prime Rib fan you simply can’t go wrong
They may be behind the times and trends but that’s what makes this experience iconic in a throwback to decades ago
Highly recommended especially for good value in an inflationary world.Two can eat happily on one 20oz portion

It is our anniversary and Iam not able to go out to dinner. We decided to try the Hunter Steak House. The Filet Mignon was fantastic. Our dog was hoping for fat but there was none! We added the fried shrimp which were yummy. The bake potato was amazing withhe butter, cheese, and chives. The mixed veggies were tasty too. A bit pricey but worth it for our anniversary.

The prime rib was the most bland I've ever had, absolutely flavorless. It was way overcooked and tough to chew. An absolute waste of money. The steak was slightly better however it was still disappointing. The portion was oddly small and looked as though a portion had been cut off, just strange. I Will never eat here again, do not recommend. We ended up getting fast food as that was better than the overpriced steak we had from this "steakhouse."Gross.

my Mom turned 91 today and requested, Prime Rib
I was so disappointed when the prime rib arrived brown and fatty. it was sad that the best part of the dinner was the horseradish. I would not recommend this restaurant.

the ribs were over cooked and terrible.. Pork Jerkey !!! I usually get good food from you, also I did not get my clam chowder that I paid for. This meal was very expensive so one would expect the best quality. I can't drive anymore and have been a customer since 1990.
