i have been a fan of Medium Rare for a long time dining in. Unlike a lot of steak places, they have always accommodated my distaste for black peppercorns.
I ordered in tonight fully expecting a mouthful of peppercorns even with my special request to remove the black peppercorns.
Only Medium Rare did exactly what I asked. No peppercorns. Just tender steak.
I will definitely order again.

I still like Medium Rare steak and fries - the meat is good quality and the sauce is very good. BUT
1. I'm very disappointed with the portion size - unless there was a mistake with my order, steak portion it's now half what it used to be ( and price is the same of course).
2. Bread also used to be fresher, sometimes still warm. This time I had 2 pieces of refrigerated bread.
3. Fries came all mushy, I believe they get overcooked during transport due to being packaged in a closed paper bag while still very hot
Regret to say but no value for money anymore.

It was good but not worth the money not even half of what I paid. Hardly any steak at all. The flavor and sauce and taste of the whole meal was amazing but not worth that price.

Neutral: salad. Would be nice to havesomething like onions and tomatoes in the salad. Only greens + 2pieces of small quarter to atoes
Overall: a bit expensive for what it is .

We particularly enjoy the three course prix fixe meal. We can almost always make a second light meal of sandwiches out of each of our dinners. Great value.
