Wow, I'm so grateful this restaurant is back, and even better - it's in Miramar!  I had lost touch with them when they closed during covid and am grateful to see it popped up near my neighborhood on Doordash.  This is a family-run business that I'm sure many San Diegans missed when they closed down for a while.  They also offer gluten-free teff injera by request and had some on hand, which was soft and yummy.  In fact, all the food was excellent with really great packaging too with containers you can re-use and the bag was taped shut so the food stayed warm.  :)  Thanks so much to the owner, Mercy and her family!   So glad to find you again!  I will definitely be reordering and recommend others support this business.  :)

Ordered the Lamb and Chicken with injera, rice, and Sambusa. The meat dishes also came with an additional  vegetable side which were delicious! We got the cabbage and eggplant sides which had great flavor. The sambusa was a little dry unfortunately. Overall the price was a great value!

The food was good, I was so hungry I started the at the chicken  Sambusa (in the photo) the sambusa was good, the l vegan platter was excellent and big portion, the eggplant in the sampler was my  favorite! As for the ingera, not sure if it's suppose to taste slightly sour I prefer less sour taste but again I never had ingera before so not sure how it's suppose to be, it's a new taste for me. Overall the food was good and tasteful!

First time I've ever had Ethiopian food. I was curious as I like trying new things and heard promising things about this cuisine.

My experience was lovely and really hit the spot. Though I recommend sharing this with others as it does fill you up easily but in a good way.

I recommend giving this a try if you want to try African food, let alone, Ethiopian food.
