Bentos are the way to go trying their variety of menu items: Dinner (Choice of 3 Items) I chose the Oysters Katsu (3pc), Fish Katsu, and Beef Teriyaki. Comes with salad and the BEST miso soup. Both katsu's were tasty and fresh, not overly breaded.
Wanted to try the Lobster Lover. The fish it was topped with: Hamachi, Tuna, Salmon were good. The creamy lemon sauce was good. I wish the flavor of the roll was more lobster forward overall. I could have just ordered a Rainbow roll to get the flavor experience? Still, it was a tasty roll. (10 pc)
Instead of Dragonfly roll, we wanted to try Ichiban. The scallops were large and fresh & sweet! 'Twas a well balanced roll and not distracting flavorwise. (6pc)

my husband and I used to love this place but lately the portions have been very poor and the price has gone up. the crispy tuna tacos are 17$ for 2 extremely tiny tacos, approx 2.5 inches long with very little fillings. we won't be ordering again

Mel and Tsunami may look alike, but they are unique! One has shrimp tempura and spicy tuna that are well balanced to not overpower the white tuna. The other has spicy salmon, also well balanced with the hamachi. The sauces don't mask the fresh fish, although I did pick off a couple Jalapeños to adjust the flavor because I love Hamachi.
Crunchy Roll was tasty. I wish the sauce was more heavily applied.
Volcanic Scallop was good, but I wish they hadn't torched the scallops so well-done. They would be sweeter left more undercooked.
3rd time ordering from here and always satisfying!

We asked if they could use the tamper-proof stickers.The person said they didn't have stickers anymore, but could tape up the opening.
Before it arrived they sent a picture of our taped up food. When it arrived it was PERFECTLY just how the picture showed. PLUS the food was DELICIOUS.
