The characteristics of true pizza napoletana are easy to see: sparse toppings and a raised border with a thin soft crust. When cooked properly at a high temperature, the crust will bubble up and be charred in spots. There is often more sauce than cheese, which makes this style of pizza not conducive to being served by the slice. Napoletana pizzas are ten to eleven inches and recommended for one person.
Burrata is a buttery fresh Italian cheese. The outer shell is solid mozzarella while the inside contains strands of mozzarella and cream. We proudly use belgioioso artisan curd to make all our fresh mozzarella and burrata.
