Vegetarian sushi experts and allergen friendly <3 I let sushi spot know the chef could put a twist on my tempura yam roll and they made the best sushi rolls I've ever had! I'm allergic to fish and peanuts and I never have allergic reactions due to cross contamination here.

The Ikura rolls were smaller than the McKinleyville location, one roll had half grey fish, should be pink and the shrimp Sunomono Salad with protein didn't smell right. McKinleyville takes longer, but today it proved the quality is better . In person visits in Arcata have been great in the past, but tonight doordash was disappointing.

Absolutely delicious, my favorite little spoiling myself meal. The Lemon Salmon was buttery and delicious, and the Ahi Tuna was soft, a little thick, and flavorful. They prepared it within 25 minutes and gave me the extra soy sauce I like. I also rearranged the pieces in the box myself and removed the rind from the lemon just to make a little experience for myself.

spider roll was disappointing. was excited to have real crab, but it seemed like such tiny amounts and the breading overpowered it. but for the higher price it did end up being twice the amount; I'm glad for that though I'd rather have tried a less expensive smaller amount. sunshine roll was pretty good again. they followed special requests well.

I love the food here, and when I travel away from Humboldt, I long for it again. The tempura is wonderfully light and crunchy, the Trinidad Roll with smoked albacore is scrumptious. I always ask to have some cream cheese added to it=even more yummy. Sauces are fresh and tasty tool.
