• 12/6/24Everything was excellent!!!! Definately lives upto their name as an authentic southern restaurant!!! Cabbage was fantastic!!! So was mac n cheese!!! Just like homemade!! Black eyed peas and cornbread were great too. Roast beef and mashed potatos like I cooked it myself!!! Candied sweet potatoes and potato salad were great too!! Lemon cake was also good just a little dry. Will order from again and again!!!

• 8/16/26This is my first (more than likely) my last order. Prior to me ordering, I read many reviews, even from 2 years ago. I was excited to try some home cooking coming from NC only last week. The fried pork chops are ok, juicy & crunchy. Although the breading tastes like it would also be used on seafood. The sweet potatoes were not that sweet. The Mac-n-cheese tastess like it would be served in a school cafeteria. The cornbread was soft & sweet which is nice. Now let's talk about this itty bitty container of peach cobbler ($5). I haven't tried it yet but goodness at the price per quantity. Everyone's taste buds are unique but this is in no way "soooo good" as stated many times in the reviews .

• 8/4/26Best food I've had In way too long ! So much flavor, corn bread is perfect, beans are so good with the rice, chicken is so tender! I mean really it's so good! Will be ordering again and again!

• 7/30/26SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! Smothered pork chops were amazing, butter beans and cornbread with a little fresh onion on top teleported me back to my Papaws kitchen. Definitely recommend the pie and cobbler! So good

is hands down the best fried chicken in Jax. The Smothered Pork Chops were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I ate the potatoe salad before I even opened my food container lol I hope they never shut em down cause this food is the truth
