The Chocolate Moose is the sequel to Mays Café, opened in 1933 by Cletus May after losing her production job during the Great Depression. Cletus and his wife, Elmsley, ran Mays Café for several years …
Food was great and hot! Classic coney dog and nice, crispy Potato Wedges. Fry serving size wasn't overly generous, but fair for the price.

I get this is an icecream shop but the food was kind of sad. We got about 6 Potato Wedges and that cost $5. My BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich had no BBQ on it and little meat. The only thing that looked good besides the ice cream was the Chicken Bacon Ranch

I ordered the Float . I thought I would give Chocolate Moose another try but they do not get any better. They are a very greedy, penny-pinching company.
I have ordered the Blizz before and I would ask for Oreos and Reeses peanut butter cups and I was lucky to find a hit of these items in my Blizz.
I ordered different combinations and it's the same thing- --- Lots of ice cream, hardly any add-ins. I have ordered the potato wedges. a very little portion for the price I paid.
I ordered the Root Beer Float and they didn't fill the cup to the top. Why not?! I'm done with Chocolate Moose for a while.A long while.
I can go to Dairy Queen and actually have a decent amount of add ons in my Blizzards and the floats come full. Too bad Door Dash doesn't deliver Dairy Queen.

As always, the Chocolate Mouse and Darn Good Soup did NOT disappoint. The Chicken Tortilla (16 oz) was so flavorful and the Chicken Pot Pie (16 oz), a new one for us, is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to follow our soup with the Homemade ice cream.

I ordered two soups (Darn Good Soup) to try them out. The Cheesy Tomatillo (12 oz) was amazing. Super flavorful, hearty, creamy. Perfect. The West African Chicken Peanut (12 oz) is very comforting and delicious as well. Both soups came with warm pieces of bread. Perfect for a cold, winter Sunday.
