The staff at Cedar Sub & Salad are top notch, not only does Cedar Sub & Salad offer delicious food options, the owner and staff are true Americans. 

They understand the true meaning  of "Never leave a man behind". I work on the Great Lakes freighters that ply the st.Clair river, the pilot boat delivers our food. Im the night "riverwatch" supervisor, and let me tell  you.. thechicken  Chicken rice bowl has sustained me through many a frigid night watch at the bow of these majestic ships. God Bless Cedar and staff for helping us old mariners get through another lonely day away from loved ones.

If I could give 100 stars, I would! Always fresh and absolutely delicious! Wonderfully priced for the portions as well. The chicken shawarma is my personal favorite!

Cedar Sub and Salad is just an all around worse pita way. I ordered the bowl and instead of being layers of vibrant flavor it's just a bowl of acidic slop, the beef is very tough and tastes bad I suspect it's frozen. If you're thinking about this place just order pita way instead it's the same price and you get more food that's actually quality. I would not order this place again because it's as mediocre as food can get.

The falafel was so burnt it was inedible! The shawarma wrap was really good as well as the baklava but I do t understand how you can even serve that falafel - disappointing
