I'm 3rd generation Shanghainese from NYC and did not think I could find any quality Chinese food on the Peninsula. Then came the pandemic and we tried almost every restaurant on DoorDash. This is one of our favorites now. Their buns (fresh or steam at home frozen) are amazing. Other favorites are the MaPo tofu and sautéed green beans. If you love tea eggs/soy sauce eggs definitely order those for snacks. Delivery was quicker than expected and whoever packs the food does an excellent job (no leaking). About to order again now!

Dissapointed. Pork spicy wonton was not spicy, and shrimp noodle soup was bland with tasteless shrimp and cold tasteless noodles. No silverware provided. $35 for $8 worth of food.

Beef noodle soup was good - meat was tender and plentiful but was missing the bok choy and egg that it says it comes with. So very one note and brown. Rice bento was also very brown. Chicken cutlet is a bit thin and dry. Flavor of sauce was good but needed something green to break up the brown.

The pan fried pork buns were so good! Crispy bottoms and juicy on the inside. Spicy wontons were juicy but wish the spicy sauce was spicier. Beef wrap was nice and flakey but needed more beef. Delivery was great and fast!

Normally the pan fried pork buns are very tasty, but this time half of them had a sour taste which suggested some sort of food spoilage. I had ordered 2 orders of the buns and it was interesting that the bad ones were in both orders. Not sure if they mixed the older filling with a new batch.
