Shawns will always be our go to BBQ spot in culpeper. However, paying $10 for the Autumn spice cheesecake and receiving a slice this small is ridiculous! Disappointed in that. Other food was great. Brisket Sandwich & Moo c & Cheesese were very good. Gallon of Sweet Tea is a must buy!

Hands down THE BEST BBQ in the area!!! The flavor of all of the meats is top notch and every single thing from the brisket to the chicken literally melts in your mouth. The Mac and cheese could use a little bit of improvement but it's still very good!! I would definitely 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Use to love this place back in the day. The price for hardly no food now is outrageous.
The slaw was watered down and tasted terrible.
Only 4 pieces of brisket.
They got the sauce wrong AGAIN.
They took the 3 meat platter off the menu which is disappointing.
If they keep up doing their customers this way they will be out of business soon.

Brisket and chicken were very dry. Wings were bland and over cooked. Corn bread was bad. Chicken tenders were burnt and way over cooked. Tacos, pulled pork, rolls were decent. For the amount of money we spent and the quality of food we received we will not be ordering again.

I have food allergies so I can't eat a lot of foods. Shawn's has food I can eat and it's always so good! and I love supporting local businesses. I get the Nachos Pork or the meat and cheese fries. huge portions!
