Such great value, big portions and DELISH! Whether you order a more traditional dish or a more "Canadian Chinese" style dish, the flavor and quality is there. Rhythm has become our go-to for Chinese after trying way too many mediocre places in town.
The Singapore Noodles are the BEST and my husband loves the Kung Pow Chicken! Can't wait to try more of the menu over time.

219. Sesame Ball (4 pcs) 麻团 is absolutely heavenly oh god AND they gave me double which is amazing just magnificent, not too sweet, delicious and chewy, not too much paste and the toasty sesame flavour was robust. Combo 3A also delicious, huge portions and the shrimp are battered generously. Sweet and sour pork was a little dry but appropriately crispy and chewy.

first of all they did respect my request which I highly appreciate but they forgot to add sweet and sour sauce - no soy sauce was added -chow mein portion is huge but the other portion sizes are quite small - very fresh and tasty - amazing quality - I can see why people love their food

In my opinion this is one of the best restaurants in South Nanaimo. We ordered the Family Meal for 6, everything was fantastic! Portion sizes are generous and well packaged, they were kind enough to include utensils, plum and soy sauces, plenty of napkins and fortune cookies!
My only suggestion is that it would be nice if we could order extra sauces on the side (such as lemon, black bean etc), as one of your competitors offers such a service. That could also be expanded to include ordering roasted sesame seeds or other toppings (furikake for rice)?
Thank you again. Your wonderful meal made my birthday special and although you are more expensive, I feel you are well worth the price!

chow mein - greasy
almond chicken - barely there and hard pieces throughout - inedible
sweet & sour pork - plentiful. dry but would be delicious if separate from chow mein and put with an adequate amount of sauce. very dry.
price is fair. food is not. disappointed and feel they can do much better.
