• 4/19/25This place is outstanding everything we order. The crab is always moist and this is probably the best pot roast I've had in ages. They provide good portions and even the side salad is plentiful. Enjoy!

• 7/4/26Fried Oysters were good just a bit salty and soggy but I understand because it's DoorDash. My Build Your Own Platter was ok just wish it came with cocktail sauce or some type of silver & napkins. Overall food was decent definitely need more oysters for 16$.

• 2/10/25I have always loved this place! The food is always on point , staff are excellent, and bathrooms are clean! The atmosphere is very welcoming. The variety of foods between awesome pizzas, mouth-watering cheddar bacon burgers, and many other burger choices, wonderful steaks, as well as appetizers to die for! Roast is a definite entree you should try! It's definitely worth a visit!I'm never disappointed! It's not only historically located in the heart of Portsmouth, it's historically awesome!

• 6/5/26I got off at 11pm and wanted something good to eat never ate here before but wanted to give them a try and thank god I did! The food was amazing and my steak was tender they took the time even when it was a late order I will always order or eat here when I can thank you good end to a hard day at work!

• 10/8/25THE HOMEMADE ONION RINGS ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!!! THE SUCCULENT OUTSTANDING FRESH OYSTERS IN SEASON WERE THE MOST DELICIOUS TASTING FRESHEST OF FRESH OYSTERS. IT WAS THE GREATEST THOUGHT AS IT OCCURRED TO ME THAT THE MONTHS TO DINE ON OYSTERS ARE MONTHS ENDING IN R. BARRONS PUB HAS IT GOING ON!!!
